It’s our pleasure to be hosting the annual North Wales Men’s Conference once again. Below are some details concerning the conference and our guest speaker.

Date:                   Saturday 6th October

Time:                   10:00-13:30

Venue:                Gwersyllt Congregational Church, Dodd’s Lane, Gwersyllt, Wrexham LL11 4NT

Speaker:             Ste Casey

Title:                    The Hope of Change in Real Life Struggles

Guest Speaker

STE CASEY is currently serving as a pastor at Speke Baptist Church, Liverpool, which is seeking to reach out to the large council estate where they live. He has been studying counselling with CCEF (Christian Counselling and Education Foundation) since 2008, and has served as a pastoral intern with CCEF in Philadelphia, PA. He is married to Jane, and they have six school-age children.

In Ste’s first session he will be dealing specifically with what the Bible teaches about how we change, and how this is different from worldly strategies of change. In his second session he will be looking at how we can grow in helping others to change.

Timings and Format

We’re again keeping the conference timings at 10:00-13:30 so as to give men the afternoon with their wives and families. Feedback we’ve received suggested that this was appreciated.

Ste will take two sessions and in between there will be either an interactive session in between. As always, there will be bacon baps and drinks available.
